The East Asian countries have many wonderful historic cities which have been so brilliant in design and culture. They have been an indicator of the state of Asian civilization. Besides their tradition, the East Asian cities are deemed to have been developing a new urbanism in 20th century which is unique enough to distinguish them from the western cities.
