Traditional Settlements 

 

About the settlement       Wontuh  is one of the most typical traditional Korean villages, which is located at  Sangwon-ri, Guseong-myeon, Gimcheon-city, Gyeongsangbuk-do province. The village dates back to circa 1510, and its residents mainly belong to Lee family from Yeonan. The village has 53 houses, as of 1990, most of which are the typical rural houses. Bangcho-jeong, a typical Jeongja is located at the front of the village to be the landmark of the settlement.
