 Misawa's House

About the house    Misawa's House was built at a post town in Nagano Prefecture about 140 years ago and moved to Minkaen(folk village) in Kawasaki city. Originally it was the residence of the Kumigashira (assistant of the Village chief) for generations, and also served as a pharmacy. Especially the stone-laid shingle roof shows a local feature.
