About the house       Kim Dongsu's House is located at Ogong-ri, Sanoe-myeon, Jeongeup-city, Jeollabuk-do province. This house was supposedly built in 1784. According to the theory of Feng Shui, this house was located in connection with the rear mountain, Mt. Changhasan and the front water, Dongjingang River. This house is composed of An-chae or the Inner Building, Sarang-chae or the men's quarter, Haengrang-chae or the servants' quarter, Byeoldang or the Separate Building, and Sadang or the ancestral shrine. This house is one of the typical residences of the upper-class in the late Choseon Dynasty.
