About the settlement       Sangsa  is a traditional village which is located at Isa-dong, Dong-gu, Daejeon city. It faces the North, exceptionally as a traditional village. The village which was originally a family graveyard  became to be  a clan village of the Eunjin-Song  family in the 19th century. The village has a well named Hancheon which has been said never to be dried up even in the severe drought. Hancheon is also a pen name of Song Seongjun who, as a Song family member, was the first settler at this village. The village has a unique villagescape which stems from the ancestor worship houses lined up along a village road.
